I've read in a SuSE forum about downgrading to the .95 kernel to get kaudiocreator's cd ripping back up to par. I'd rather get the current 2.6.5-7.108 kernel working.
Is there a workaround for this app? Even clicking between tabbed panes is slow.
I have the same issue. I am using the standard Kernel from 9.1 personal, with whatever upgrades YaST has provided. When I updated to 3.3 KAudioCreator has started ripping etc. very slowly. I too would like to know how to get around this, since I like to write while listening to music and this makes my Linux side much less appealing than it would be otherwise. Thanks in advance for any help. Cheers!

For what its worth, its the same with 2.6.7 and KDE 3.3. It seemed to be the upgrade to KDE3.3 that did it. Grip works just fine tho, and thats what i'm sticking with. jalal -- GPG fingerprint = 3D45 5509 D380 26A4 523E A9D8 A66A 5F38 CA43 BB0E
