Try Gwenview, for example. You can just enter ftp://your.domain/directory in the address field. If you nedd a password, you'll be asked for it. Works perfect.
You can also use kuickshow the same way, but gwenview has more options and is more comfortable...

Thanks for the info! I had looked at Gwenview but I was not able to get it to work so I had thought that it would not work. Anyway I went back to it and tried again. The problem was that my account name has a "@" in it. I ended up passing it as "%40" and then it worked.
