Hey Group;
I have a friend that has a new very fast motherboard with a ataraid RAID chipset which can be set as an additional IDE set. SuSE8.2 finds the chips. SuSE has /dev/ataraid/* as major number 114 - No problem! However, I have tried "mount" on just about all of them with no luck.
Does anyone have experience with the naming of this type of IDE I did find d[0-9] (as memory serves me)
Try the following command: hwinfo --disk Does it see your RAID array? - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+8eZr+FOexA3koIgRAie1AJwPA7fHwb2ueWqPSo1IZv+pZWVmjwCcCFxi 793+pS5L3bBpfm/hwduusGs= =z2bq -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
