This is a Ralink RT2500 802.11 Cardbus Reference Card. Is this some sort of wireless thingie?
02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Galileo Technology Ltd.: Unknown device 4362 (rev 19)
Galileo Technology Ltd. is now Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 4362 is a gigabit ethernet controller.
Ronald, to start with I think you need to upgrade your pciutils package. That'll give you an up-to-date listing with lspci. Second, you need to check to see if you're using the latest Marvell driver for your gigabit network. I had expected two devices to show up, but if both your interfaces are gigabit, maybe there is just the one device and the driver create two interfaces out of it. (somehow). What's the exact Gigabyte model# of your motherboard?
Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-9 (Athlon) yes, it has a wireless antenna, .. where do I get all the parts to upgrade? I tried Google for some hours, but could not find it. Thanks for your help! bye Ronald
I remember discussing the Marvell drivers with someone else on this list not long ago. I don't know what the conclusion was.
