I have been running IPv6 for almost 11 years and don't recall any mention of such issues. The point of the privacy addresses is they're not tied to a MAC address, as the consistent addresses often are. This means if you take your device to different locations, etc. Your address, as used by browsers, etc., is not traceable to your device. The only "issue" I can think of would be if you had some connection up for more than a week and the privacy address you had been using for that week is no longer available.
