Jose> Has anybody tried making this model from ati to work and got sucess with it? I tried to install 8.42.3 with ATI's x1600 XT card many times, but got same results as you. Now, I'm using the driver 8.41.7. What I always did is; 1. rpm -e $(rpm -qa | grep fglrx) 2. sh ./ati-driver-installer-8.41.7-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg SuSE/SUSE102-AMD64 3. rpm -Uvh --force fglrx*.rpm 4. copy 10.2's xorg.conf to /etc/X11 <-- Don't use Sax2! 5. REBOOT 6. login as a usr 7. Yast2 --> Hardware --> keybord (root) 8. just touch setting 9. Click OK buton 10. Sax2 will appear, then "test" nad "save" 11. logout, and login again.
