Right, and THAT was the original question: When this is possible for DOS, why are the Linux Versions always that large?
I imagine "list.com" - really simple, really basic, but only 26507 bytes long. So what the heck makes the Linux versions that large at all?!?!
I found clex , which is about as simple as it gets. You need an external editor, must define all your F keys links to external apps, and it compiles to 120k. -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
