Hey people, Need someones help. Yesterday while creating an account for a new user my linux box locked up. I was unable to do anything, ctrl-alt f1-f6 were inaccessible. After hitting the reset button and rebooting I found that I was not able to ping our local network nor am I able to get out onto the web. I tried my windows partition and it works fine, pings, browses the network and surfs. How do I restore my system. I've checked out our NT server and my IP lease is still ok, we even deleted it and set a new one. I am using a P166 with 96meg of RAM, its a test machine, and it WAS up for 96 days before all this happened. :-( _____________________________________________________________________________ http://clubs.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
