Look in archives, particulary opensuse-factory for calibre and you will find a solution. Sorry don't have time to look it up for you.
Nice snarky and un-helpful answer. Typical.
You are quite welcome. I have returned and looked up the answer, re: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=801390 to wit: uninstall calibre remove /usr/share/calibre install new calibre
How about this taken from the upstream download site:
http://calibre-ebook.com/download_linux
The latest release of calibre is 0.9.31. Please do not use your distribution provided calibre package, as those are often buggy/outdated. Instead use the Binary install described below.
The procedure referred to is also on the above link. It works every time for me
re: Bruce Ferrell poor advise. Unknowledgable users especially should use distro provided packages and solutions. Binary installs may cause all sorts of problems and do not appear in your rpm database. :0: * ^From:.bferrell\@baywinds\.org /dev/null -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
