Can you check if gphoto2 --list-cameras | grep 640 lists the PDC 640?
Otherwise I think that libgphoto2 was not compiled correctly.
Ciao, Marcus
Yessir, here's what comes up:
john@linux:~> gphoto2 --list-cameras | grep 640 "Ixla:DualCam 640" (EXPERIMENTAL) "Polaroid:640SE" (EXPERIMENTAL) "Polaroid:Fun Flash 640" (EXPERIMENTAL) "Polaroid:PDC 640" "Sierra Imaging:SD640" john@linux:~>
Seems like my camera should work fine, since it's not listed as '(EXPERIMENTAL)'. Pretty strange huh? I really appreciate the help Marcus, thank you.
Hmm, then try with the : name gphoto2 --camera "Polaroid:PDC 640" --port /dev/ttyS1 -L please and check if that helps. If it doesnt, please send debugoutput with --debug. ciao, Marcus
