Even though a very small matter, but I prefer to have all the things only which are required, and not anything extra even if it doesn't do anything (rather than sleeping there), seems to me as if it is a sort of negative energy, better if discarded. Analogy: A very old scooter in the house is there, even if no body is using that. I would rather sell it even if I don't get the money.
