[SLE] Mounting specific usb devices in async mode

Hi, I have an external USB harddisk. When I plug it in it is mounted in sync mode and this results in very low transfer rates. I have to unmount it and mount in async mode by hand to get reasonable transfer rates. On the other side I want to have sync mode for my usb stick and the digital camera. Is it possible to specify mount options for specific usb storage devices?
