[04-03-11 08:18]: How do I calibrate the screenbrightness of my 11.4 KDE 4.6.00 ?
systemsettings --> Display and Monitor --> gamma
I'm looking for calibration, not adjustment only.
calibration///adjustment when you can see nearly equally the different shades at the top and bottom of the display, you are on target.
or ?? what do you mean... brightness
No I think he does mean calibration, color calibration. If I right about that, go to a photo supply store that sells to professionals. Ask them what you need. Second thought is store for professional designers who use computers for their work. I think there are different systems for this, so find out which one your photo composing software wants. Also, ask any people you know who do this sort of work. If you need calibration software, it's likely to be pricey. Look at sites for open source software, and see what's there. But do first check the software you have to see if it does it. -- Bob Rea mailto:gapetard@stsams.org http://www.petard.us http://www.petard.us/blog http://www.petard.us/gallery Where is Bill Stringfellow now that we really need him? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
