Hi! I need to setup additional software on remote host with SuSE 8.2 installed on it. When I try to start yast I get this error: #yast2 warning: the ncurses frontend is installed but does not work You need to install yast2-ncurses to use the YaST2 text mode interface The yast2-ncurses-2.7.13-7 and ncurses-5.3-28 are instaled. I can see it in rpm -qa output. What does it meen this error? Which other tools can I use for adding software? I know about rpm and console ftp-client of course , but how to trace dependency inside rpms ? Any ideas? Who does it know how to repare yast? Thanks for your support! -- Best regards Alexandr R.
