Yeah, I ran into this on a server I built at work. I ended up having to just install the rpm's by hand off the CD's. It was PITA since the full distro isn't on the FTP site yet..or I would have just used something that works..ie apt.
I had the same thing at home and was similarly annoyed with the lack of an apt repository. I have to shuttle the DVDs from home to work and back every day now... I did find that that package installation is fine using the ncurses YaST2, however. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+u6Ik+FOexA3koIgRAtFrAJ9Pzgr5eV8qi2ycPJKYAHZ9AOYiugCfVEcQ fYPD4buugHKVxcxdFjDl7Gc= =hb0y -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
