Yes, but in openSUSE Leap you will not get an update of those till the next Leap release. You might get an update for a printer, and break others. So nothing touched.

but I usually use hplip or cups, rarely look at yast-printer for some years.
By the same reason, CUPS itself is not updated till next Leap release. There is a repository with the next version, though.
