Hello linux-e; This is my first question to this list so I hope it fits. How do you clear the "hwinfo" database. This system is SuSE 8.0/upgraded. I removed a Lexmark Z55 printer that was a Linux headache with 8.0. However, it still shows up with "hwinfo --printer". Shades of MS! If there is a file that stores this data I have not found it yet. Ther is no "man hwinfo" and "hwinfo --help" does suggest any solution. -- 73 de Donn Washburn __ " http://www.hal-pc.org/~dwash " Ham Callsign N5XWB / / __ __ __ __ __ __ __ 307 Savoy St. / /__ / / / \/ / / /_/ / \ \/ / Sugar Land, TX 77478 /_____/ /_/ /_/\__/ /_____/ /_/\_\ LL# 1.281.242.3256 a MSDOS Virus "Free Zone" OS Email: n5xwb@arrl.net Info: http://www.austinlug.org
