<snip> Did you look in /usr/src/packages/SPECS or SOURCE? That's where the files are placed and then you just run the rpmbuild command. Of course, you didn't have to install it at all, but just run the rpmbuild on the src.rpm.
rpmbuild --rebuild
(straight, no install build) (you'll find the rpms in /usr/src/packages/RPMS <snip> I've been following this thread with interest because I'm experiencing the same system sounds problem under 9.2. In fact, (thanks Lee!) rpmbuild is crunching away as I write this. I'll let you know if and how it works here (pretty soon by the looks of it.)
