Any pointers?? Rikard,
Did you eventually get a solution for this? I have a Pentium 1 machine here here that does not boot from CD and I am wondering if the same trick you found out could be used here to get the CD-ROM functioning, other than using a boot disk? I would like to know as I have a very similar situation where my CD-ROM is not specified as either primary master/slave but it is specified. The HDD is the primary master, and I use LiLo. -- The Little Helper ======================================================================== Hylton Conacher - Licenced ex-Windows user (apart from Quicken) Registered Linux user # 229959 at http://counter.li.org Currently using SuSE 9.0 Professional with KDE 3.1 ========================================================================
