In general, the dependencies of apps on libKF5 are subtle. For
example, this problem also exists in sddm.
If the subtle dependencies go awry, as in your case, it spits out a
dependency error, but displays a login screen that is different from
my configuration. In this case, the solution is to align the libKF5
files with a specific version. This is often the case when using
KDE:Extra.
Conclusively, I believe that the reason is that the dependency is not
well defined.
So, the solution in your case is to find a set of libKF5 file(s) that
are compatible with digikam.
