Hello,
Have you tried a -default kernel, esp. one not PREEMPT?
No, I haven't.
Why, do you you think that would be different? :-?
ISTR, that I read something somewhere to the effect with PREEMPT kernel. It just "rang a bell" when I read your mail...
And testing the -default kernel should not be much trouble, esp. if you have 'multiversion' enabled in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf.
Right, but the thing is, if it doesn't crash immediately I may have to wait two weeks till I can confirm it works. Or, I could use my kernel with messages, but that setting changed. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
