running a headless web server box w/11.2 2.6.38-24-default x86_64
This am I started receiving the following messages, /var/log/messages, when trying to ssh into the box:
(2 lines beginning with "Aug 28") Aug 28 04:10:06 wahoo su: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib64/security/pam_limits.so): /lib64/libpam.so.0: version`LIBPAM_EXTENWION_1.0' not found (required by /lib64/security/pam_limits.so) Aug 28 04:10:06 wahoo su: PAM adding faulty module: //lib64/security/pam_limits.so
I don't understand this as there have been no updates to *pam* since 15 May 11, and the server has been restarted twice since then:

I'm afraid to reboot the server and possibly loose remote access to it, although it is local and I could hook a spare monitor, keyboard and mouse.
I do have nfs access and it is active and working.
Any suggestions welcome.
