I finally got around to the 15.1>15.2 upgrade the other day using the iso image on dvd, and here's a few notes. I'd like to hear what people think.
It sounds like more and more reasons not to do it. Not just this but many other reports. I admit that 15.1 hasn't been the greatest; as many have commented there are swap problems and I can't keep it running for more that a day or if I use much video: play a couple of DVDs or watch much on Firefox or YouTube. Yes, there have been many other reports of problems with upgrade. It doesn't seem worth it. Perhaps openSUSE is running out of steam and it's worth looking again at Fedora or Malveria -- “Reality is so complex, we must move away from dogma, whether it’s conspiracy theories or free-market,” -- James Glattfelder. http://jth.ch/jbg
