Hi! This is the ezmlm program. I'm managing the
suse-linux-e@suse.com mailing list.
Messages to you from the suse-linux-e mailing list seem to
have been bouncing. I've attached a copy of the first bounce
message I received.
If this message bounces too, I will send you a probe. If the probe bounces,
I will remove your address from the suse-linux-e mailing list,
without further notice.
I've kept a list of which messages from the suse-linux-e mailing list have
bounced from your address.
Copies of these messages may be in the archive.
To retrieve a set of messages 123-145 (a maximum of 100 per request),

Well,
I guess MSCE really doesn't mean that much after all. here here to Open
Source,
where you actually see what you get. buying MS products is like buying a
CAR
which you are unable to see under the hood or whats in the trunk. you have
to trust what the salesman tells you.

Microsoft Acknowledges Its Engineers Placed Security Flaw in Some Software
By TED BRIDIS
Staff Reporter of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
Microsoft Corp. acknowledged Thursday that its engineers included in some of
its Internet software a secret password -- a phrase deriding their rivals at
Netscape as "weenies" -- that could be used to gain illicit access to
hundreds of thousands of Internet sites world-wide. [...]
The company planned to warn customers as soon as possible with an e-mail
bulletin and an advisory published on its corporate Web site. Microsoft
urged customers to delete the computer file-called "dvwssr.dll"-containing
the offending code. The file is installed on the company's Internet-server
software with Frontpage 98 extensions.
While there are no reports that the alleged security flaw has been
exploited, the affected software is believed to be used by many Web sites.
By using the so-called back door, a hacker may be able to gain access to key
Web-site management files [...]
Russ Cooper, who runs the popular NT Bugtraq discussion forum on the
Internet, estimated that the problem threatened "almost every Web-hosting
provider." [...]
Instructions on how to see the password for yourself
1. Use Google.com or Altavista and locate the file "dvwssr.dll"
2. Save a copy to your desktop or folder OTHER than MS system
3. Open in notepad or any other text editor
4. Wrap the text
5. Scroll down past the first 12-line block of binary
6. Look for "Netscape engineers are weenies!" spelled backwards
