I installed PHPGroupware and had it working. Of course, I hand-rolled
Apache so that I could include FrontPage extensions. I hand-installed PHP4
so that I could tweak the configuration. If memory serves, I hand-rolled
MySQL as well.
PHPGroupware is decent, but still Alpha-stage, IMO. A number of things just
don't work quite as expected out of the package, but they were all minor for
me.
It went pretty well. I just installed the IMAP server from the SuSE cd-set.
No problems there, other than ones that I can blame on myself.
What do you want to know?

Subject: [SLE] Anyone got Cyrus IMAP and/or PHPGroupware working on SuSE ?
I am trying to get some kind of open source groupware system running on my
SuSE 7.0 server. I would really like to have a Note/Domin style server
without the Notes/Domino bit and preferable with an HTTP interface which can
be used by both Linux and Windows boxes. I need it to have mail, calendar,
address book, notes, forums etc.
Having looked into this a bit, it looks as though a PHPGroupware/MySQL/Cyrus
IMAP setup is the best bet (unless someone else has any better ideas).
Has anyone struggled with this themselves and has any pointers/URLS or even
a nice RPM ?
Cheers,
Sean.
