Some LG monitors have an inbuilt Automatic Standby Mode. Could it be that? There is normally a menu entry for setting it off.
I think it was set to 4 hours, but tomorrow I'll try to set that off. Maybe it did not detect the day activity?
That was it. I happened to be at the machine, typing, when a black box popped up saying that the monitor would switch off in 5 minutes because there was no activity. So I changed that from 4 hours to off. We'll see if that does the trick. Funny it does not see the activity. It is a monitor, not a TV... -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
