Here on 11.2 it's plugin-containe, which seems more often to consume more RAM than CPU. Won't killing it destruct function of Flash objects loaded in various tabs?
of course, running flash instances will be killed & the space they occupied on the page empty. but often the plugin wrapper doesn't close properly, even after the browser tab is closed. as michael getachew already said, i've seen this behavior a while ago, but not recently. which versions of FF, nsplugin & flash are you running? -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
