I tried to install winTV pvr-350 without success. Yast has a TV installation program. When the selection screen comes the my card is there!!. Then when I selected and try to scan channels an error message comes saying that the device is not available. When I look at the drivers it loads, I believe they are not correct (bttv). Why if I select the correct card loads the wrong? drivers.
I found: http://ivtv.sf.net/
In summary: Does Suse 9.1 comes with support for the card and and doing something wrong? or I have to patch the kernel?
You won't have to patch the kernel, but you will have to download the ivtv driver and compile it. Follow the instructions on the ivtv site. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This e-mail is CONFIDENTIAL and contains information intended only for the person(s) named.
