Hi, I have mounted OpenSuse 12.2 on a DELL Optiplx 960 from scratch. After the installation, all seems to be working fine. I then applied YOU to update all components, and rebooted. The system starts up to the point that says starting up ramdisk, the console screen then goes blank (black). I can log on over the network afterwards. The Xorg.log says: x server for display 0 cannot be started - session disabled. No screen is specified. Looks like the console start up screen is somehow corrupted. There is no /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but a set of /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ files. A new scheme that I am not familiar with now. Does anyone have any idea what happens?
