MySQL ( www.mysql.org ) would be my suggestion. If you going to Linux I
think MySQL is probally the most widely used. If you wanted to make you
databes accessable via the web check into PHP ( www.php.net ) it's
compariable to Cold Fusion for NT. MySQL and PHP work great together!!
MySQL is also pretty easy to install. They have it in .rpm and tar.gz
format. I would recomend using the .tar.gz though.

Can anyone recommend a Database supporting basic SQL for use on Linux ?
Presently I'm using MS Access on Windows NT in one of my applications, but I want to move everything over to Linux but the database is my last hurdle.
Thanx for any help
Chris
