Leen,
well, if you are willing to compile your own stuff. Newbies tend to want the disks and the books, until they see the first screen where there seem to be an overwhelming number of questions to be answered. OR so I'm told when I sit down to install w/ someone.. ( I like to make them sit nearby to observe, and hand me the cds as they need changing... )
I don't understand how folks can be so paralized w/ fear at choices. I supose it says something ( not good) about the current state of freedoms , pretty much everywhere... You only have what you may percieve, aparently.
The current state? I bet people suffered from that same problem decades ago. :) Reminds me of my first steps... In the beginning I had to read very carefully what was going on on the screen. And that was difficult, because I was excited too, and wanted to get going as fast as I could. Waahh, those good old days... Lurking behind a Sharp-MZ700 and a TV-screen... LOL! Hmm, getting OT here. Very OT. Cut. Cheers, Leen
