I have "ulimit -c unlimited" in /etc/rc.config and if I run "ulimit -c" it returns "unlimited" but the program I'm interested exit with "Segmentation fault" message and no core files are created. There is 2.5GB available and that should be enough space for a core file. I'll appreciate any suggestion of how to get a core dump from this crash. Christopher Mahmood wrote:

"Segmentation fault" error. Is it possible to get a core file instead of "Segmentation fault" message and how do I do that?
Set 'ulimit -c' > 0. E.g., ulimit -c 50000 would allow core dumps as large as 50M to be written.
