I could solve that part, not knowing if I did the right thing, but it works: I added the above line to my file /etc/X11/xdm/scripts/Xsetup that I created to rotate the screen display. Still I have the following little problem:
2) The Icon-Starters on the Desktop usually do not react (the don't get marked nor start the desired app). All the other things work (I can move windows, mark text, touch things in dolphin, firefox etc.).
However in one exception desktop-icon-touch works: When I first touch an open window, and after that touch an icon, it works (app starts) as it should. But /only/ if I first touch an open window, and only once, directly after touching that window.
Any ideas?
