I'm new to the business of burning (re)writable CD's, so bear with me (after having read man cdrecord): Here's my objective: Write to a CD 2 (tar) files, ONE AT A TIME. Here's what I did: mkisofs -r -o cd_etc etc/=./etc.full.tar.gz mkisofs -r -o cd_image anovo/=./anovo.full.tar.gz # Optional mount -t iso9660 -o ro,loop=/dev/loop0 cd_image /cdrom mount -t iso9660 -o ro,loop=/dev/loop0 cd_etc /cdrom # cdrecord -v speed=4 dev=0,0,0 -multi -data cd_image cdrecord -v speed=4 dev=0,0,0 -multi -data cd_etc Here's what happened: mount /cdrom ls /cdrom anovo # the first image to be burnt, it's OK # no sign of the second image (should be the "etc" directory) What am I missing? Can this be done? Thanks a zillion, Alvaro -- -- -- -- -- Alvaro A.
