Clonezilla (Debian based) is hard to beat for cloning both Linux and Window disks (or partitions) whatever. One of the best features is that you can create a bootable clonezilla image on the new disk, which you then install where it will live and then boot from the new drive which boots entirely to ram, releasing the disk it was booted from, and then clone from old-to-new. All that remains is to yank the old drive. This works amazingly well. -- David C.
