Hello All,
I am helping a friend set up some boxes for a make shift office. There will be 5 people working in an open area. They have decided to rely solely on Linux for all Software needs. It seems that he has the capital to purchase 3 brand new laptops and 2 brand new desktops. Trouble is, we can't find anywhere that will sell us what we want without some M$ OS already installed.
We would like to use IBM or HP machines if possible and of course we would prefer SuSE 8.2 as the distro (either pre-installed or we can install it post purchase). The main concern is to have a company to stand behind the hardware and support us if we are using Linux as the OS.
Any ideas ?
HP and IBM sell many laptops and desktops pre-loaded with SuSE. I just cruised through both sites after doing a search on them for Linux..quite a few choices to choose from. :) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org ----- If two men agree on everything, you can be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking.
