I am a SuSe newbie and I need to recompile my kernel for ADSL. I found some basic instructions (which I am including below) which state that I should cd into /usr/src/linux and do make `menuconfig`
However on my SuSE 8.0 PRO installation there is no linux directory.
Anyone help me out or get me started. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...
Have you installed the kernel sources (from the 'd' series, package name appears to be "kernel-source" according to the SuSE website)? You might like to do 'make cloneconfig' before 'make menuconfig'.
