There's a couple of things you can do: Remove the baloo indexes Remove the search_db from ~/.local/share/akonadi
What are the implications of deleting all the baloo-related packages from teh system? check and see: zypper -v -D rm `rpm -qa *baloo*`
will do nothing to your system but tell you what it would do
zypper --help
~ # zypper -v -D rm `rpm -qa *baloo*` Verbosity: 1 Unknown command 'baloo5-file-5.45.0-lp150.2.1.x86_64' Type 'zypper help' to get a list of global options and commands.
In case 'baloo5-file-5.45.0-lp150.2.1.x86_64' is not a typo it's probably not a built-in command, but provided as a subcommand or plug-in (see 'zypper help subcommand'). In this case a specific package providing the subcommand needs to be installed first. Those packages are often named 'zypper-baloo5-file-5.45.0-lp150.2.1.x86_64' or 'zypper-baloo5-file-5.45.0-lp150.2.1.x86_64-plugin'
According to the --help panel:
--reposd-dir, -D <dir> Use alternative repository definition file directory There does not seem to be an option to "just test what this will do".
zypper rm --help -D, --dry-run Test the removal, do not actually remove. and the command line I provided has incorrect order for parameters zypper -v rm -D `rpm -qa *baloo*` will provide you with the "implications". -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
