I, too, agree with Lenz's sentiment.
Some people just never have enough. Give them more, and you're just widening their appetite, sometimes out of proportion... Some time ago, not far from here, a company once wanted to make a demonstration of their computer-aided translation system. While attempting to address a very complex problem, they did their best at providing an impressive user interface, meant to increase the comfort (and probably speed) of the human translator. That was surely not changing the difficult, intrinsic nature of the problem, but they surely tried hard. At the end of the demonstration, they gave a copy of their "Users' Guide", in a form of a nicely printed and bound book, to the people in charge there. One of them, having an academic research profile, replied something like: "What? For using your system, don't tell me translators _ought_ to study?" -- François Pinard http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/~pinard -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
