[Thu, 11 Nov 2004 18:58:50 +0100]: Ps. BONUS question - is there a way to boot from a parallel ZIP-drive, or the option in the BIOS boot-config as 'ZIP' is actually just for ZIP-drives with IDE interface?! Thx.
No way. The BIOS is responsible for booting an operating system so it has to be able to read from a given device. As no BIOS supports reading from a parallel Zip, the only possible way would be to boot from floppy and then continue to read from the ZIP drive.
