Click on the '0/1' button, in the lower left section of the applications window, that looks like a power switch. This kills the process. Whereas the 'X' in the upper right corner of the window border just iconifies the kscd application. You can also execute: kill `'ps ajx | grep kscd | grep -v grep | awk '{ print $2 }'` The quotes are critical here; the first and last are grave accents and the others are single quotes. Afterwards when you shut down your X session the kscd apps should no longer appear. jpg
Hi all, I've just installed suse 5.3 and I have some problems with KDE. Every time I start KDE there are 4 Kscd opened. How can I avoid this? Another is that, in KDE, a normal user can't access the CD drive, only root can. And this only happens in KDE, in any other wm all users can access the CD. Can a nyone help me?
