Already tried Alien. It builds a package, but it won't install. It claims libcrypto.so.0.0.8 and libssl are needed. Even going out and installing those packages does not not work, as they continue to be shown as fail dependencies.
If you read the original post and bugzilla, you will see that he is already building an rpm, successfully, and he explains how.
He is simply requesting that such an RPM is build and distributed, officially, by openSUSE.
