lpr -P PrinterName lp -d PrinterName kprinter --stdin xpp
for Mozilla, you need to edit /opt/mozilla/defaults/pref/unix.js
pref("print.printer_list", "sp925 xpp kprinter"); // list of printers, seperated by spaces ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ the line is approx 30% down the file.
As a followup, NADA! 'Just spits out paper, no matter what "quality" I've chosen in Kprinter. I can't believe that the folks working on Moz. are that ignorant about the MANDATE to be able to print correctly! Some recent new converts to SuSE (and Linux) are most unhappy that they can't print out an occasional piece of mail and web page. No, they SHOULDN'T have to change to different software. Moz. and NS should work properly.
