I've noticed a LOT of people asking questions about TB3 lately on this list.
I'm astounded anyone is 5 release numbers behind, or doesn't understand that the best place to get these packages is NOT the CD that came with your boxed set, or the original downloaded DVD.
Does no one visit the Additional Package Repositories page? Perhaps this has been too well hidden on the Opensuse site, being three clicks deep? http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_package_repositories
Additional repositories are not mandatory. I get the updates from the updates repo. When that one gets version 5, I'll get the update to version 5, not earlier. So the question is why Novell does not provide version 5 in the update repo. There must be a good reason, like incompatibilities with add ons. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
