Why don't you use tail instead. To find more features just type "man tail"

I want to be able to scroll backward from the end of the file, not just see the last few lines in the file. I know there's a way to do it because I've done it before. I just have to remember how. I thought there was a command under less that said go to the end, but I can't find any reference to it under "man less".
Less's commands are vaguely similar to Vi's and / or Vim's. To go to the last line type 'G' (capital 'g'). To go to the first line, use lower-case 'g'.
You can get help while less is running by typing 'h'.
