I have changed the file permisions from easy to secure
with yast and now I can't mount drives. This is my fstab.
/dev/hdb2 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hdb3 / ext2 defaults 1 1
/dev/hdb6 /var ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdb7 /tmp ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdb8 /opt ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdb9 /usr ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdb1 /boot ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdb5 /home ext2 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdc /cdrom iso9660 ro,noauto,user,exec 0 0
/dev/fd0 /floppy auto noauto,user 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
# End of YaST-generated fstab lines
/dev/hda1 /mnt/cdrive vfat noauto,user,rw 0 0
/dev/hda5 /mnt/ddrive vfat noauto,user,rw 0 0
/dev/hda6 /mnt/edrive vfat noauto,user,rw 0 0
/dev/hda7 /mnt/fdrive vfat noauto,user,rw 0 0
/dev/hdd1 /mnt/zip ext2 noauto,user,rw,nosuid,sync 0 0
With secure file permisions am I going to be able to mount
drives as a user? I thought that "user" in fstab allowed
this.
Thanks for any help.
