Sure. But flash is not highly important to me anyhow, and if a flash plugin that interests me stops, I just restart Firefox and it all behaves properly again -- for a while, anyway.
To me "just restarting Firefox" is no small thing. I keep a lot of tabs open, most of which seem to prevent browser caching, so it takes a while to complete a restart. Restart also takes extra time for bookmarks to be imported from the profile where I manage them ever since the switch from bookmarks.html to places.sqlite that stupidly merged bookmarks and history into a single sluggish and bloated database. If it was up to me, Flash wouldn't even exist, but unfortunately due to proliferation of moronic web designers, some crucial content cannot be accessed without it. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
