Go to Preferences>Data Choices.there you'll find a check-box next to the text "Enable telemetry" I have never looked at this before, but I found that the check-box was empty. Since I never got asked the question, AFAIK, it would seem that FF defaults to OFF. But you can always look, and fix it, if necessary.
