We are expecting a Flir LadyBug5 to arrive any day. I will try to see if I can have it work on openSUSE. Given my problems with a Chameleon, I'm not 100% optimistic. But it is a different library.
Good luck with that!
I had a quick test. The 42.3 machine (kernel 4.4.126-48) does see the card on the PCI bus, but doesn't connect/initialize an external SuperSpeed SSD. On Tumbleweed this works. I read some mentioning that you's need at least kernel 4.7 for proper USB 3.1. So if it's 42.3 you'd need a kernel-of-the-day or something.
I've read the same. The current kernel on OBS is 4.18. I'm hesitant to upgrade to that on my work machine. I need a machine I can reinstall for that test. I would imagine that it will also require updates to various user-land USB stuff as well. -- Roger Oberholtzer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
