You seem to imply that systemd will remount file system that was manually unmounted using "umount" command. Of course it will not. Do you ever try something? Do you actually understand the problem Carlos mentioned?
Yes, but you also haven't been paying attention. There have, as was mentioned, been upstream changes to address the issue. There was also a corresponding 'bug' where systemd kept mounting a manually mounted drive :) As Carlos also mentioned, this has been addressed upstream. I think that the newly released systemd version of the mount command, as I suggested earlier, dynamically creating a unit, indicates the changes systemd is making in this area. https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=Systemd-Mount Which is amplified at https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/4ypb2g/systemd_rolls_out_its_own_mou... As he says, swapping USB keys or other removable media without following the mount/umount protocols can lead to confusion. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
